3. Controlling the Sender’s Facsimile to Retrieve a Document

Polling Reception and Start Timer

If Polling Reception is selected, you can retrieve a stored document by controlling the sender’s facsimile 
using the Polling Transmission and facsimile data service. The reception time can be specified for Polling 
Reception. This function can be used when using polling reception to retrieve large documents or to 
retrieve a document late in the evening when the charges are lower in the case of long-distance Polling 
Reception.
