1. Clean the gasket groove (B) in the
fi
lter head (A).
2. Apply a thin
fi
lm of clean oil to the
fi
lter gasket (C).
3. Install new gasket (C) into the groove (B) in the
fi
lter
head (A).
4. Screw the new
fi
lter (D) onto the
fi
lter head until the
gasket contacts the
fi
lter.

5. Tighten
fi
lter an additional 3/4 turn by hand.
IMPORTANT:
Do
NOT
use a
fi
lter wrench to install oil
fi
lter.
Overtightening can damage gasket and
fi
lter.
