Overview
This procedure is used to clear an
ENET terminal loopback
condition indicated by a lighted Abnormal (
MN/ABN
) LED on the
SYSCTL faceplate, and reported as a Standing Condition (SC) in the
WaveStar
®
CIT Alarm List. The condition indicates that a user
initiated an Ethernet terminal loopback.
Before you begin

Complete the following steps to clear an
ENET terminal
loopback
condition.

From the WaveStar
®
CIT System View, click the
Alarm List
button
and locate the
ENET terminal loopback
condition in the resulting
alarm list.

Refer to the Probable Cause column in the alarm list, determine the
circuit pack affected, and note the corresponding AID.
............................................................................................................................................................

From the System View menu, select
Fault
→
Loopback
, expand the
appropriate Ethernet circuit pack, select the required LAN port, and
click
Select
.
Result:
The loopback parameters appear.

Release
and
Apply
.
Result:
A warning message appears asking you to confirm
executing this command. Click
Yes
and
Close
.

From the System View, click the
Alarm List
button and click
Refresh
