Operands:
S
1
: 16 bit counter number (C0~C199)
S
2
: Preset value (K0~K32,767, ELC-PB, ELCB-PB: D0~D599,
ELC-PC/PA/PH: D0~D4,999, ELC-PV, ELCM-PH/PA: D0~D9,999)
Description:
Each time the conditions preceding a CNT instruction transition from false-to-true, the counter will
increment by one. When the accumulative value of a counter equals its Preset value, the counter
done bit will turn on. The done bit of a counter is the counter number (C2 for example) and must be
used in a bit instruction. When the counter number is used in a word instruction, it is the
accumulative value (the count value). If the conditions preceding a CNT instruction transition from
false-to-true after the preset value has been reached, the done bit contact and the accumulative
value will remain unchanged. To reset a counter, use the RST instruction.
