Tighten the beam stop fixing screw and beam stop mounting screw.
The adjustment of D/teX Ultra is completed by the above procedures.
Optics alignment (for D/teX only)
This section describes how to perform optics alignment only with D/teX Ultra
and then adjust the D/teX Ultra. When 2θ = 0º, the DS center, sample axis (θ
axis) center, and RS center are aligned in a straight line. The optics alignment is
a procedure to raise or lower the X-ray tube in order to move the focus onto this
line.

Start up MiniFlex 600 (see “
”).
Open the sample chamber door, and set the included 0.3-mm Cu
absorber into the soller slit box of the goniometer arm.

Make sure that nothing is mounted on the sample holder at this time.
If a sample is mounted, correct alignment cannot be done.

If a beam stop is installed, remove it.
