Setting and Adjustment

MiniFlex 600: Benchtop X-ray Diffractometer

Normally, the minimum angle is set to 2

to prevent the direct beam from

entering the detector accidentally.

Confirm the angle correction and slit correction.

When aligning the optics for the first time after installing the system,

select Options - Detector Setup – SC-70, and enter 500 mV in the PHA
baseline box, 1000 mV in the PHA window box, and the HV value
indicated on the label pasted on SC (see Fig. 5.10) in the HV box as the
initial value.
