MiniFlex 600: Benchtop X-ray Diffractometer

Confirm that the O-rings are placed. Install the X-ray tube into the
tube shield, making sure that the tube positioning pin fits the tube
shield pin hole (see Fig. 5.2 (b)). Tighten the two tube fixing screws
and fix the X-ray tube into position.

Connecting the Cooling Water Hose

Connect the cooling water hoses included with the equipment to the IN

and OUT ports (see Fig 5.3) on the rear side of the main unit.

Couple the connection ports securely using the included AMC couplings to

prevent water leakage.

Connect the main unit and the cooling water supply source (either tap

water or heat exchanger) using the cooling water hoses included with
the equipment, which should be cut to an adequate length.

Couple the connection ports securely using the cooling-water hose bands
(for tap water) or AMC couplings (for heat exchanger) to prevent water
leakage.

Attach the IN and OUT labels on the end of the cooling hoses.
