Click the Run button in the General Measurement window. The
measurement will start.
XG termination Condition (Fig. 8.6)
Under the
Specification A
(including Japan), you must turn off X-ray
generation before opening the door when replacing the sample. In the case of
the standard measurement, when you click the measurement start (
Run)
button,
the system will automatically turn on X-ray generation and start the
measurement if the door is shut and the shutter is opened. Under this
specification, it is recommended to set the equipment to turn off X-ray
generation after measurements end.
Under the
Specification B
X-ray generation does not need to be turned off
when opening the door. It is therefore not necessarily required to set the
equipment to turn off X-ray generation after measurements end.

Measured data is processed by "PDXL" or "Integral intensity
calculation software".
Use PDXL Qualitative Analysis Software for data comparison and analysis.
This software searches the ICDD database (which is the standard data for
powder XRD) to find the candidate substance data that matches the
measurement pattern. For details on how to use these softwares, refer to the
instruction manual of each software.
Measurement condition when using the variable slit system with SC are
listed below as a reference.
