Setting and Adjustment

Types of Soller Slit, Confirming the Soller Slit

Types of incident Soller slit

The setting of incident Soller slit is done at factory. There are the following two
types of incident Soller slit:

Standard:

Soller(inc)=5.0deg

High resolution:

Soller(inc)=2.5deg

CAUTION

The incident Soller slit cannot be replaced by the user. Replacement conducted by the user
may cause the system to malfunction.

Confirming the incident Soller slit

The incident Soller slit is installed on the X-ray tube side of the DS section.
Confirm it from the space between the incident cover and the X-ray tube. Either
the label of 5.0

deg or 2.5

deg can be confirmed.
