MiniFlex 600: Benchtop X-ray Diffractometer

Installation of MiniFlex600

Unpacking

Unpack the main unit and the component parts, and verify that they match with
the list of shipped items (see “

List of Shipped Items

”).

Installing the X-Ray tube

Remove the upper cover of the enclosure.

Remove the six fixing screws on (3 x 2) on both sides of the main
unit.

②

Pull the cover slightly backward, and then lift it up.

Install the X-ray tube.

①

Remove the upper cover. The X-ray tube is on the left side when
looking at the equipment from the front side.

②

Place the O-rings (two, included within the storage box) on the upper
side of the tube shield.

Without the O-rings, the cooling water may leak out.
