Optics Alignment (Required for Periodic Inspection or Installing X-Ray Tube)

MiniFlex 600: Benchtop X-ray Diffractometer

If a variable knife edge is installed, either remove it or mount the
retracting screw and keep the slider of the variable knife edge lifted
up.

CAUTION

The absorber is inserted in order to prevent the direct beam from being directly
entering the detector. The detector may be damaged if the absorber is not
installed. Be sure to install the absorber upon an optics alignment.
