Directly entering the D/teX Ultra adjustment value
The value of D/teX Ultra is unique for each detector. If the value is known, it
can be entered directly.
1
Select Options - Detector Setup - D/teX Ultra.

2
Enter the value of PHA baseline and PHA window, depending on the
purpose.
There are the following three types of calculation method for each mode.
Standard
: A setting to perform measurement well balanced in the
resolution and intensity of D/teX Ultra. It is set to take in the
wavelength area in which the diffracted X-ray intensity is 10 % or
higher, which is mainly the used wavelength. The two values written
on the label attached on D/teX Ultra are the discriminator Low value
and discriminator High value of this standard mode.
Low value = PHA baseline (BL)
High value = PHA baseline (BL) + PHA window width (WD)
Reduce fluorescent X-ray
: A setting to reduce the background from
fluorescent X-rays by cutting the used wavelength on the low energy
side from the center of energy in a measurement. The intensity
becomes approximately 60% compared with standard mode.
How to calculate from Standard is the following:
Fluorescent X-ray Reduce Low = {(Standard Low + Standard
High)/2} - 1
