Select Control - Initialize Individual Axis - Theta/2-Theta and click the
Execute button. In the same manner, select Control - Initialize
Individual Axis – Detector # 1, and click the Execute button.
Next, execute the D/teX Detector Center Correction. To execute with direct
beam, move on to

recommended to execute by the direct beam.

Center Correction Clear
checkbox.

Click the
Execute
button.

Uncheck the
Center Correction Clear
checkbox.

Check the
Theta/2-theta scan conditions
checkbox.

Set DS=1.25°, absorber (Cu plate 0.3 mm, 1 or 2 plates), and RS =
OPEN. Enter 0° in the
Theta/2-theta position (deg)
box.

Click the
Execute
button.
The correction value is registered in the MiniFlex Guidance
automatically after the measurement is completed.

Click the
OK
button.
The correction value can be seen on the History window. (Click the History
command under the View menu to display the History window.)
