MiniFlex 600: Benchtop X-ray Diffractometer

Startup and Shutdown (Daily routine)

Starting Up the System

When a heat exchanger is used, turn on the power of the heat

exchanger.

When tap water is used, turn on the faucet and let the cooling water flow. If
the HV ENABLE key is stored in a separate place, insert it into the HV
ENABLE key hole.

Turn on the “Power circuit breaker” on the rear side of MiniFlex 600

main unit (see Fig. 2.2). Then, press the “Power ON switch” on the
front side (see Fig. 7.1) to turn on the power of the equipment.

The Door Lock button will blink. Press the Door Lock button.

The door is locked.

Press the power switch of the PC to turn it ON, and start up MiniFlex

Guidance.

The initialization of goniometer, detector, and attachment will start

automatically.

Confirm that the “OPERATE lamp” on the front side of the MiniFlex

600 main unit is on in yellow. Also, confirm that the HV ENABLE key
is inserted.

When the OPERATE lamp is on in yellow, the equipment is under normal

status.
