Perform the beam stop position confirmation measurement.
CAUTION
Before performing the beam stop position confirmation measurement, make
sure that the direct beam is blocked by the beam stop in

The detector may become damaged if the
direct beam enters D/teX Ultra directly.

Remove the Cu absorber mounted on Soller slit box.

Set the setting jig (with Si) on the sample holder. .

Confirm that the beam stop is not set at a position where it interferes
with the measurement. Perform the beam stop position confirmation
measurement.
④
Confirm that the background intensity at 2θ=2° or larger is not
blocked by the beam stop.
⑤
If an adjustment is required again, return to

Adjust the beam stop
and perform the adjustment.
Scan conditions, Absolute, Start: 1, Stop: 5, Step: 0.01, Speed: 10, Scan
mode: Continuous
Count mode under Detector: Diff.
