Forum Gateway 560

System Architecture

The following graphic displays a Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications
system configured as a call server. Two Forum Gateways 560 are connected
to this communications system via a network line or via LAN. U

pn

system

telephones, for example, can be connected to each Forum Gateway 560
using interface cards.

This system architecture is also suitable for setting up an IP-based floorplan:
in a multi-story building there is one Forum Gateway 560 per floor. The
Forum Gateways 560 are connected to the central Forum 5004/5008/
5012 communications system via Ethernet lines (LAN).

Forum 5004/5008/5012 call server and two Forum Gateways 560

The Forum Gateways 560 and all telephony functions are controlled by the
Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications system. You manage the existing
Forum Gateways 560, the interface cards installed in them and the TDM
terminals and TDM lines connected to the interface cards using the web
configurator of the Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications system.
