Multi-Router Support for SIP Trunks

Voice over IP (VoIP)
Example 2: SIP trunks connected to DSL lines
In example 2, the communications system is connected by means of two
Ethernet cables. One Ethernet cable connects the communications system to
the company LAN. The communications system – and the subscribers
connected to it – accesses the Internet via the default gateway.
The second Ethernet cable is used to connect to the VoIP Internet routers (DSL
modems: DSL 2, DSL 3 for SIP provider A and DSL 4 for SIP provider B). SIP
provider A provides a separate DSL connection for each SIP trunk. For the data
traffic between the communications system and the SIP providers (A and B),
set up three further subnets in the communication system with the
corresponding gateways in addition to the default subnet.
