Setting Up Hunt Groups
Hunt groups are set up and managed on the web console of the
communications system in the
Configurator , menu Telephony : Groups : Hunt
groups .
Example: Configuration dialog for a comfort hunt group
Configure the internal call number of the hunt group ( Hunt group no. ) and
give the group a name ( Name ). Assign up to 40 available internal numbers of
users of the communications system to the hunt group call number ( Phone
numbers 1 to Phone numbers 40 ). These are the members of the hunt
group. You must assign at least one member.
By specifying the type of the hunt group, you can determine which strategy is
used to assign hunt group calls to the group members. The order in which
hunt group calls are assigned is based on the order of the call numbers of the
group members.
