The camera image is always displayed centred horizontally and vertically
on SIP system telephones/in the CTI application. In the case of IP cameras
that do not allow a resolution to be specified in the URL, it is possible that
large areas of the image will not be displayed.

●

If the camera image has a resolution that does not correspond perfectly to
the display size of the SIP system telephone used, the image is automati-
cally cropped and/or filled with white space. The camera image is scaled
appropriately by the web browser in the CTI application.

●

To prevent image distortions on the telephone display/in the CTI appli-
cation, a resolution that corresponds to the aspect ratio of the camera
image should be specified in the camera URL. The optimum aspect ratio for
displaying a camera image in the CTI application is 4:3.
