For initial operation

When you operate the equipment without performing calibration, the measurement values are
calculated according to the calibration data obtained at the factory.
As the calibration values vary depending on the installation environment, the correct values
may not be displayed.
It is recommended that you perform calibration before measurement.

Note

Check that the meter is installed correctly.
For installation, refer to the attached Installation Work Procedure.

According to the total pollutant load control enacted by Japan's Ministry of the Environment for
factories that discharge waste liquid to the closed water area, if there is no correlation among
the measurement values obtained by the automatic total nitrogen/phosphorus monitoring
system, manual analysis defined by 45 and 46 for JIS K0102 (measurement value obtained by
the specified measurement method), and the TPNA-500, the following conversion formula
should be used.
The conversion formula is expressed as follows:

y = a + bx

Here, the variables x and y represent the following:

x: Measurement value obtained by the automatic total nitrogen/phosphorus monitoring

system

y:  Equivalent

The value of “y” is regarded as the TP/TN value obtained by the specified measurement
method.
