Waste liquid processing

It is necessary to perform the waste liquid processing before the waste liquid tank becomes
full of waste liquid. Check the liquid level periodically and perform waste liquid processing.

Waste liquid processing

Note

When you perform maintenance, be sure to stop the measurement, and then turn the
maintenance switch ON.

The measurement waste liquid is highly acidic, and it contains heavy-metal ions. Perform the
appropriate waste liquid processing.

Be extremely careful so that the waste liquid does not overflow from the waste liquid tank.
In the standard specification, approximately 24 L of waste liquid is drained per measurement.
When measurement is performed hourly, approximately 0.6 L of waste liquid is drained per day.
The capacity of the standard waste liquid tank is 20 L (approximately 30 days when measurement
is performed hourly).

When the tank becomes full of waste liquid, a “Full Drain Tank” alarm will be output and the
measurement will be stopped.

The waste liquid contains acids and alkalis. Therefore, it must be disposed of according to the
related laws and/or regulations on the treatment of waste. Perform the waste liquid processing
according to the related laws and local regulations.

wear protective gloves and goggles so that you will not come in direct contact with the waste liquid.
If it gets on your skin or in your eyes, rinse it off with a plenty of water immediately and contact your 
doctor.
If you swallow it accidentally, contact your doctor immediately.
