Note:
Parameter settings can be edited after entering the correct password. Performing a 2-wire or 3-
wire initialization resets the password to “0000”. Re-enter the password to parameter A1-05
after drive initialization.

A1-06: Application Presets
To make it easier to set up the drive for commonly used applications, there are several
Application Presets available. By selecting one of these application presets, the drive
automatically sets the required parameters to their optimal values and selects I/Os. In
addition, the parameters most likely to be changed are assigned to the list of Preferred
Parameters, A2-01 through A2-16. These can be accessed in the Setup Mode and provide a
fast application adjustment without scrolling through many menus.
The following presets can be selected.
Note:
The drive parameters should be initialized by setting A1-06 to 2220 or 3330 prior to selecting an
Application Preset.
WARNING! Confirm the drive I/O signals and external sequence before performing a test run. Setting
parameter A1-06 may change the I/O terminal function automatically from the default setting. Failure to
comply may result in death or serious injury.
