Setting 1: Coast to Stop
When the Run command is removed, the drive will shut off its output and the motor will
coast (uncontrolled deceleration) to stop where the stopping time is determined by the inertia
and the friction in the driven system.

Note:
After a stop is initiated, any subsequent Run command entered will be ignored until the
Minimum Baseblock Time (L2-03) has expired. Do not attempt to start the motor up again until
it has come to a complete stop. To start the motor back up before it has stopped completely, use
DC Injection at start (refer to

)
or Speed Search (refer to
Refer to b3: Speed Search on page 50
Setting 2: DC Injection Braking to Stop
When the Run command is removed, the drive will baseblock (turn off its output) for the
minimum baseblock time (L2-03). Once the minimum baseblock time has expired, the drive
will brake the motor by injecting DC current into the motor windings. The stopping time
will be reduced as compared to coast to stop. The level of DC Injection current is set by
parameter b2-02 (default = 50%).
Note:
This function is not available when using PM Open Loop Vector.
