PROCEDURE
1 Prepare the SAC for installation.
1.1 Make sure that all the applicable surfaces of the SAC and the related surfaces in
the receiver are clean and have no damage.
1.2 Apply a layer of silicon compound to each side of the SAC and the related
surfaces in the receiver housing.
1.3 If necessary, attach the swivel lugs and the chain blocks to the SAC.
1.4 Use the engine room crane and applicable equipment to move the SAC to the
horizontal position.
1.5 Operate the equipment until the SAC is in the install position.
1.6 Attach the supports (003, Figure 11-19 ) to the receiver.
1.7 Attach the support (001) to the receiver.
1.8 Attach the lever chain hoist (002) to the middle swivel lug (004) and to the
support (001).
1.9 If applicable, attach the rollers (005).

2 Pull in the SAC in the receiver.
2.1 Operate the lever chain hoist (002, Figure 11-19 ) until the rollers (005) are on
the supports.
2.2 Remove the equipment from the fixed side of the SAC.
2.3 Carefully operate the lever chain hoist to pull the SAC until the SAC is fully in the
receiver.
2.4 Remove the equipment.
