If a piston ring that has some wear of the chrome-ceramic layer is found, do an overhaul
of the unit as soon as possible. Refer to
for data about worn areas of the
chrome ceramic layer.

If the thickness of the chrome-ceramic layer is less than the limits given below, replace
the applicable piston ring:
•
Top piston ring, more than 0.05 mm
•
Bottom piston rings, more than 0.02 mm.
