PROCEDURE

1

Make sure that the pressure in the starting air system is released.

Remove the air pipe (002, 

Figure 7-38

) from the starting air valve (001).

Disconnect the electrical connection from the 3/2-way solenoid valve (003, 

Figure 7-39

).

Remove the four screws (004).

Carefully remove the starting air valve from the cylinder cover (001).

NOTE:

If available you can use the long special screws 942719B to remove the
starting air valve.

Remove and discard the gasket (002).

7

Put protection over the opening in the cylinder cover (001).
