Grease-collecting channel and drain valve
➜
The separated grease particles and condensate droplets flow down on the separating
surface through drain holes into the grease-collecting channel in the lower filter frame.
Conventional extractor hoods are equipped with a circumferential grease-collecting channel.
The inner channel surfaces are smooth without cutting edges and burrs to avoid the risk
of injury.
In energy-saving hoods, condensate can only accumulate on one length side due to the
forced Venturi ventilation.
➜
Only this hood side is fitted with a grease-collecting channel.
It is designed to accommodate higher quantities of cleaning liquid.
The drain valve is fitted in a recess to ensure its firm fitting and the complete drainage of the
collecting channel.
➜
The design of the drain valve seat helps to avoid leakage in the long term.
REVEN® collecting channels and drain valves fully comply with the requirements of the
directive
VDI 2052
(directive of the German Association of Engineers VDI).
