Scientific testing and optimisation with the help of CFD
Rentschler REVEN has used CFD technology to optimise the airflow
behaviour of supply air units (see figure).
The pressure loss in the supply air unit and the associated noise development
were also tested in relation to the amount of air blown in (see figure).
Specifications for different positions of the adjusting device (at 0°, 30°, 45° and 60°), unit (1500 x 500 mm).
