Engine coolant level too low
Insufficient engine coolant in
the overflow tank caused by
evaporation at the tank,
permeation through rubber
hoses or a leak.
• Level switch in wrong
orientation, stuck or
faulty.
• FPC not configured
correctly.
• FEB to FPC jumper cable
not seated well.
4017
Cooling capacity is reduced
Fouled radiator on air side,
seized HRU fan or failed fan,
insufficient coolant, HRU panel
left open, incorrect fan type
configured, windy conditions.
• Verify all panels secured
in place.
• Verify both fans are
operating, If one is not
operating, test the fan
connector and harnesses,
replace if PWM is above
35%, upgrade FW is PWM
is below 35%.
• Verify coolant in radiator
is topped off.
• Clean radiator.
• Verify correct fan type
configured.
