No CAN response from QEC
QEC has no terminating resistor on the
CANBUS line, CAN harness damaged
between the FPC and QEC, QEC CAN
address is not configured correctly,
hardware issue
1002
CAN response is invalid
Noise on the CANBUS line, FPC/QEC CAN
hardware problem
1003
QEC does not enable
QEC did not respond to an enable
command from the FPC due to hardware
issues
1005
HHT value is unavailable
A timeout has occurred while waiting for
a valid head temperature reading from
the QEC
• If head temp has dropped below
200C. Check lockout signal from FPC
to BCU is bad or failed BCU (white
wire from Pin#4 on terminal J4 of
BCU). Trace wire from the BCU
through the isolating transformer to
the FPC
• Poor gas quality
• Gas valve calibration incorrect
• Engine problem
• No aux power
