17.3 COOLANT FILL INSTRUCTIONS
The PowerGen’s coolant loop is shipped full to customer location.
When required the coolant loop will need to be drained/refilled. Approximately 4.2 gallons of
50/50 (60/40 mix if PowerGen is rated for -40C), glycol/water coolant mixture will be required
to fill entire coolant loop.
WARNING:
A battery presents a risk of electrical
shock and a high short circuit current.
The following precautions must always be taken
when working on batteries:
-Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects
from your person.
-Use tools with insulated handles. Wear rubber
gloves and boots.
-Do not lay tools or metal parts on top of batteries.
-Disconnect any charging source prior to
connecting or disconnecting battery terminals.
-Determine whether the battery is inadvertently
grounded. When inadvertently grounded, remove
the ground source. Making contact with any part
of a grounded battery is capable of resulting in
receiving an electrical shock. The risk of such a
shock is reduced when grounding sources are
removed during installation.
WARNING:
Danger of fatal electric shock from
touching live connections.
Make sure the PowerGen is switched off before
you perform electrical connection.
An improper electrical connection can make the
PowerGen unsafe to operate and result in
personal injury and/or material damage.
The electrical installation, including grounding,
must be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician, who is responsible for making sure that
it complies with local regulations.
Cables must not touch any unit component that
could become hot during operation of the
PowerGen.
