12.12 COOLANT TOP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS
The PowerGen’s coolant loop is shipped full to the customer location.
During commissioning the coolant loop may need to be topped-off. Approximately 4.2 gallons
of 50/50, Antifreeze coolant mixture will be required to fill entire coolant loop.
The PowerGen requires Preston AF2000 Cor-Guard antifreeze coolant, 50/50, coolant/water
mix (4.2 gal total). This is the same coolant mixture used in the automotive industry in
heavy-duty automobiles.
If for any reason the coolant loop is empty and needs to be filled, please follow the Coolant Fill
procedure located in “Coolant Fill Instructions” on page 144.
12.13 HANDOVER TO USER
After installation of the PowerGen is complete, the installer shall:
1. Instruct the user in the operation of the PowerGen and any external safety devices required
by local regulations
2. Give the Operation Manual to the user.
3. Clean up the area, if necessary.
4. Ask customer to sign the Commissioning checklist prior to leaving site.
13. STARTUP PROCEDURE
1. Open the gas shut-off valve.
