Engine start timeout
QEC did not report a “running” status
within a specified time.
• If head temperature is above 180C
Verify helium pressure is correct. DO
NOT PROCEED WITHOUT VERIFYING
HELIUM PRESSURE and gas quality,
Failure in doing so can result in
irreversible damage to the engine
• If head temperature is not increasing,
Check if BCU light turns green during
ignition cycle, if not check fuse and
all connectors to BCU
• If head temperature is increasing by
20C or more before this event, Test
the lockout signal by disconnecting
the Flame sensor harness while BCU
light is green. If fault 2014 does not
immediately appear, check the wiring
of lockout signal (white wire on BCU
power supply harnesses that is
routed through the small
transformer to FPC board)
• Verify gas valve calibrated correctly

Aux power issue. Blower RPM signal
wiring problem. Bad blower or FPC
hardware
