6.4 QEC DATA AND CONFIGURATION
QEC Data and Configuration tabs enable you to:
• View detailed data about the Stirling Engine in the Data tab.
• Configure the Engine Controller in the Configuration tab.

Control/Indication Description
QEC System Status Details the status of the engine controller, which can be:
• CHARGING - QEC is charging its internal busses
• BUMPING – Trying to start the engine, waiting for heat
• RUNNING - Engine is running
• SLEEPING – QEC is in 12Vdc battery power saver mode
• DISABLING - PowerGen is shutting down
• COOLING – Providing power to the pump to cool down the
engine
• DISABLED - PowerGen is shut down
• BOOTLOADER - Firmware is upgrading
Allow Outputs Allows the PowerGen Outputs to be turned on when conditions
allow it. (default state)
Disallow Outputs Prevents the PowerGen outputs from turning on, even when
conditions allow it.
