21.1.6 GHT Servicing Procedure
In order to service any on the internal components (pump, heat exchanger, etc.), the internal
system will need to be drained, not including the user heat trace line. If the Y strainer is
installed on the return port, open the strainer and drain the coolant into a pan. Otherwise,
undo the tubing going to the return port and drain the reservoir.
21.1.7 GHT Troubleshooting
See “Troubleshooting” on page 111 for more information on the warnings and faults related to
the GHT system. If you have further questions or issues contact the Customer Support team
at +1(801)413-7668.
21.2 LOW TEMPERATURE START (LTS)
The LT package allows for the PowerGen to startup and operate and ambient temperatures
down to -40°C. Challenges at these low temperatures are having materials such as low
carbon steel and rubbers losing their elastic characteristics and becoming brittle.
The components affected are below:
• Burner to engine seal- A different material has been selected to retain flexibility at -40F
while maintaining the same chemical resistance.
• Gas valve- a controlled heater is added to the body to maintain flexibility of seals and
resist condensates.
• Engine mounts- heaters are places on the hydraulic isolation mounts to preheat them
before the system is enabled at low temps.
• Pump- heater is placed around the motor housing to assist with cold startups.
In addition to the modifications listed above, 30ft Jumper cables are provided for cold starts
when the stock battery freezes. See “LTS Components” on page 172 for more information on
where the components listed above are located.
