Burner ignition failure
BCU does not detect a stable
flame.
Gas composition issue-
condensate or bad caloric
value, incorrect gas valve
calibration, bad igniter, bad
flame sensor, bad ground,
harness unplugged, bad valve,
gas leak into the air intake,
bad BCU, bad signal amplifier.
• Verify gas composition is
OK, and no prior 4005
warnings. Purge
non-combustible gases
from Fuel lines.
• WARNING: VERIFY NO GAS
LEAKS IN THE ENGINE BAY
AND ELECTRICAL CABINET.
• PowerGen 1200 running
on High BTU/scf gases,
Start PWM may need to
be increased up to 45%.
• Verify harnesses securely
fitted to electrodes,
ground tabs and to the
BCU.
• If fault occurs within
5seconds from the time
the Blower changes
speed, check ground to
BCU, or replace BCU.
• Check for liquids in the
fuel lines such as the
yellow flexible line.
• Check if gas valve
solenoid opens
