If long-term storage of the PowerGen is required customer will need to verify that the internal
12VDC battery is disconnected from the QEC. The failure to disconnect the 12VDC battery from
the QEC could result in failure to the battery and/or QEC. To disconnect the 12VDC battery from
the QEC, perform the following:
1. Remove the left-hand-side door (when standing in front of the control panel) from the
PowerGen (see Figure 16-1).
2. Remove the black wire on the battery.
3. Replace door on PowerGen.
