Fault Code Description Possible Causes
4003 External E-Stop signal was
activated on orange terminal
The customer E-Stop circuit
was opened by a safety device
disabling the unit, low battery
voltage.
4004 CAN node ID is out of range Illegal CAN node ID has been
sent by an external command.
4005 Gas supply problem detected While blower is increasing
estimated head temperature
is not increasing as expected.
• Gas pressure low (FPC FW
below 1.9.0).
• Bad gas quality
• Incorrect gas valve
calibration.
• HHT offset incorrect
(actual and estimated
more than 100°C apart
from each other).
• Aux power foldback,
blower is shutting off.
• Fan harness does not
have PTC (QEC FW 2.x.x +
Dunli fans only).
• Blower max set too low
(QEC FW 3.1.0+)
• Damaged BCU.
4007 ‘Engine Bay 1’ temp sensor
failed
Sensor failed open or short
circuit, bad wiring.
• Inspect the channel NTC1
on the FPC is connected
• Inspect connector and
cable for damage.
• Replace sensor.
