Installing the valves

NOTE

THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS REFER TO REMOVING ONLY ONE HEAD BUT APPLY TO BOTH
HEADS.

•

Place the valve (6) inside the head.

•

Place the lower cap (5) and the shim-

ming washers.

•

Place the outer spring (4).

•

Place the inner spring (3).

•

Insert the upper cap (2).

•

Place the two cotters (1) on the seats

in the valves.

•

By compressing the spring with the

special tool of the valve, fit the valve

cotters.
