Pressing of bearings in their seats on the gearbox
To press the bearings on the gearbox operate as follows:
•
The bearing for clutch shaft after spreading with "Loctite" is be pressed with a special punch
code 14928900.
•
The outer ring of the bearing for secondary shaft after spreading with "Loctite" is pressed
with special punch code 14929100.
•
The primary shaft bearing is pressed with a special punch code 14928800.
Specific tooling
14.92.89.00 Punch to press the bearing for transmission shafts on the cover
14.92.91.00 Punch to press the sealing ring on the front fork sleeve and gear case inner sealing
ring.
14.92.88.00 Punch to press the roller bearing for the main shaft on the box and for clutch shaft
on the cover
Pressing of bearings in the seats on the gearbox cover
To press the bearings on the gearbox operate as follows:
•
The bearing for secondary shaft after spreading with "Loctite" is be pressed with a special
punch code 14928900.
•
The primary shaft bearing is pressed with a special punch code 14929000.
•
The bearing for clutch shaft is pressed with a special punch code 14928800.
PRESS THE BEARINGS IN THEIR SEATS. ON THE GEARBOX AND COVER, LET THEM SIT FOR
12 HOURS. THIS IS USEFUL SO THE "LOCTITE" CAN DRY BEFORE STARTING THE FITTING OF
THE GEARBOX UNIT.
Specific tooling
14.92.89.00 Punch to press the bearing for transmission shafts on the cover
14.92.90.00 Punch to press the ball bearing for main shaft on the cover
14.92.88.00 Punch to press the roller bearing for the main shaft on the box and for clutch shaft
on the cover
Make sure they are perfectly bonded to the outer ring of the bearings.

screws locking the safety plates on the box and on the cover, spread the threaded part with "Loctite".
