HYDRAULIC TAPPET:
It is not necessary to perform the valve clearance
as the hydraulic tappets automatically cancel the
valve clearance during the engine operation, al-
ways keeping the camshaft in contact with the
bucket tappets.
Braking system
Level check
Brake fluid check
•
Rest the vehicle on its stand.
•
For the front brake, turn the handlebar fully to the right.
•
For the rear brake, keep the vehicle upright so that the fluid in the reservoir is at the same
level with the plug.
•
Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir is above the "MIN" reference mark:
MIN
= minimum level
MAX
= maximum level
If the fluid does not reach at least the "
MIN
" reference mark:
•
Check brake pads and disc for wear.
•
If the pads and/or the disc do not need replacing, top-up the fluid.
Adjusting the levers
If you want to change the position of the throttle
pedal (1), proceed as follows:
•
Remove the cotter pin (2), slide off the
pin (3), loose the lock nut (4) and tight-
en or undo the fork (5) until obtaining
the desired position of the throttle ped-
al;
•
Refit the pin (3) and the relative cotter
pin (2).
