Repeat the operation until the fluid

draining into the container is air-bubble

free.

NOTE

WHILE PURGING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM, FILL THE
RESERVOIR WITH THE NECESSARY QUANTITY OF
BRAKE FLUID CHECK THAT, DURING THE OPERATION,
THERE IS ALWAYS BRAKE FLUID IN THE RESERVOIR.

•

Screw the bleeding valve and remove the pipe.

•

Top-up the reservoir until the correct brake fluid level is obtained.

•

Refit and lock the rear brake oil reservoir cap.

•

Refit the rubber protection cover.

•

Completely drain off the hydraulic sys-

tem

•

Disconnect the connectors (A) of the

microswitch (B)

•

Undo the hollow screw (C) securing the

tube to the pump

•

Remove the tube and the gaskets from

the pump

•

Remove the rear view mirror

•

Unscrew the two screws (D) securing

the pump to the handlebar with the U-

bolt (E)

•

Remove the pump complete with the

tank and lever
