F-3000 Fiber Optic Mount 

Now you can study marine environments, skin and hair, or other large samples 

in situ

! 

For those users who want to examine samples unable to be inserted into the sample 
compartment, the F-3000 Fiber Optic Mount (plus fiber-optic bundles) allows remote 
sensing of fluorescence. The F-3000 couples to the T-box; light is focused from the ex-
citation spectrometer onto the fiber-optic bundle, and then directed to the sample. Fluo-
rescence emission from the sample is directed back through the bundle and into the 
front-face collection port in the sample compartment. Randomized fiber optic bundles 
ranging in length from 1 meter to 5 meters are available. Contact the local Jobin Yvon
