5. Press the [EXEC] functional key.
The search pattern is added as the first waypoint in the legs page followed by a discontinuity and the
original flight plan.
6. Press [INIT REF], <DES+SAR> or <TACTICAL> (LSK 6R).
The DES+SAR

1/2 page is displayed with the status “ACT” (reverse video white) appended to
the prompt if an activated square search pattern is in the flight plan.
