To create an Administrator account:
1. In the Main Menu bar, select
Configuration > Security Set-up
. The Security Set-up window
opens.
2. In the Security Set-up window, select a security level.
3. If you selected Low, Medium, High, or 21 CFR Part 11 security, click
(
Add a User
)
. The Add a User
Account window opens.
4. In the Add a User Account window, in the Full Name, Log-in Name, and ID fields, enter user
information.
5. In the Password field, enter a password between 4 and 16 characters in length.
6. Select Administrator from the Type drop-down list. The Administrator assigns privileges to
each user type (Reviewer, Operator, Operator using advanced features, and Supervisor).
7. Click

OK
)
. A dialog box reminds you to record the Administrator’s log-in name and password.

Click

OK

to close the dialog box. A dialog box asks if you want to add a user account. Click

OK
)
to open the Add a User Account window or

Cancel
)
to close the window.
