The Model 5030 i is based on the principles of aerosol light scattering
(nephelometer) and beta attenuation (Model 5014 i Beta) to measure
precise and accurate ambient aerosol concentrations. The Model 5030 i
SHARP aerosol sample pathway is shown in Figure 1–1 .
