Replacem ent
1. F ollow operations 1 through 4 under D r iv e r ’ s Window
slidin g G lass Replacem ent. If glass is com p letely
gone and there is no fu rth er damage to the window,
operations 1 and 2 w ill p rep a re the window fo r sta­
tion ary glass replacem ent.
2. T o in sta ll the new glass fo llo w the instruction set
fo rth fo r “ Com plete D r iv e r 's Window In stallation / '
Begin with operation 4 and continue through o p e r­
ation 12.
DRIVER’S W IN D O W THUMB PULL A N D
LO CKING DEVICE
Installation
1. Attach d r iv e r 's window thumb pull and latch a ssem ­
bly to glass using .040 x 2-1/4" glass glazin g strip
or its equivalent. C enter the latch on leading edge of
glass.
Fold the gla zin g strip o v e r edge of glass,
apply No. 30 weight m otor o il on the outside of the
glazin g strip and p re s s latch onto the glass. If it is
n ecessary to use m a llet o r ham m er to position latch,
tap lightly. Too hard a blow could chip o r break
glass o r cause the clip to open up sligh tly thus r e ­
ducing the grip on glass. The glazin g strip should be
allow ed to setup a few hours b efo re too much p r e s ­
sure is applied to it.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The tilt cab bodies a re of a ll s te e l w elded construction
fu lly surrounding the engine, and can be tilted 55 d egrees
to expose engine fo r s e rv ic in g . The cab tiltin g m echa­
nism is in teg ra l with cab fron t mountings and tiltin g is
accom plished by means of a torsion bar extending acro ss
cab front hinge mountings. R aising or low erin g is v irtu ­
a lly e ffo rtle s s since the preloaded torsion bar counter-
