COMPRESSOR CLUTCH SWITCH (Fig. 4 4 )

Removal

1. D isconnect w irin g harness at co m p ressor clutch

switch.

2. R em ove two mounting screw s and rem o ve switch.

Installation

1. P la c e switch in position and d riv e the two mounting

screw s.

2. Connect w irin g harness to switch.

BLOWER RESISTOR UNIT

Rem oval (Fig. 4 5 )

1. R em ove the sc re w attaching the flo o r outlet duct

(above the heater outlet) to the fir e w a ll.

2. R em ove the screw s attaching the distribu tor to the

h eater case, slide the d istribu tor downward out of

r e a r slid e and let it r e s t on the flo o r panel.

3. Unplug the re s is to r unit connector.

4. R em ove the r e s is to r unit retaining screw s. R em ove

the unit.

Installation

1. P la c e the replacem en t unit in position and in stall

mounting screw s.

2. Connect the r e s is to r connector.

3. P o s itio n the dash outlet a ir distribu tor against the

h eater case, in sert the fo rw a rd lip into the retaining

clip , and in stall the retaining screw s.

4. Mount the flo o r outlet duct to the fir e w a ll with the

attaching screw .

KICK PANEL AIR VALVE

Rem oval (Fig. 4 6 )

1. Disconnect vacuum hose from actuator.
2. Disconnect v a lv e return spring.

3. R em ove actuator bracket mounting screw s.
