Outside Handle

Removal and Installation

1. Open liftg a te and rem ove two (2) P h illip 's head

screw s and two in tern al tooth lockw ashers.

2. R em ove handle and rubber gasket.
3. R e v e rs e procedu re to in stall.

Supports—Upper Assem bly (Struts)

A telescopin g support, which consists of an inner and

outer  channel.  The  end  of  the  inner  channel  is  secu red
to  the  r e a r   door  w hile  the  end  of  the  outer  channel  is
secu red  to  the  body  p illa r.  The  support  is  so  designed
that  ra isin g   the  door  to  the  wide  open  position  and
re lea sin g   door,  support  w ill  lock  in  position.

NOTE:

R.H. support has sm a ll fin g e r latch to

latch the gate in the open position.

Removal and Installation

1. Support gate in open position and rem ove screw s

secu rin g ends of support to gate and body p illa r.
R em ove support.
