Reports the software revision level as a three-
character ASCII string: one letter and two
numbers. You can use this number in
conjunction with the part number returned by

unit.
Sending a request data byte is optional. If you
issue command

with zero data bytes, it
returns the Coldfire application firmware
revision. Sending 1 data byte allows you to
select the software for which the revision will
be returned.
Send 1 data byte (8-bit value).
• Byte 0 = Software request

◦ 2 = Measurement board FPGA

◦ 4 = ColdFire bootloader firmware
